Finance Risk Analyst

Introduction

Join our team as a Finance Risk Analyst in a dynamic and high-pressure trading environment. This role requires quick assimilation of information from multiple sources, problem-solving skills, and adherence to strict procedures and guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

Ability to rationalize the impact of multiple concurrent issues/requests and prioritize work accordingly
Independent motivation to continuously improve themselves and their environment
Intuitive problem-solving abilities
Confidence, focus, and adaptable communication style
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

Experience with operating systems: Solaris, Linux, Windows
Proficiency in scripting languages: Unix Shell, Perl, Python, SQL
Understanding of infrastructure disciplines (network, server, storage, messaging)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

Act as the first point of contact for business requests and reported impact
Monitor and alert critical trading system environments
Implement releases and conduct post-release testing
Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts
Troubleshoot complex systems issues and proactively identify and resolve problem hotspots
Develop tools and drive efficiency/stability improvements
