This is a technical, hands-on assembly position requiring strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow specific manufacturing and quality procedures.Location: Olathe, KS Employment Type: Full-time Work Conditions: Medical Device / Technical Manufacturing Pay: $23.00 per hourSchedule:Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PMFriday, 6:00 AM–10:00 AMPosition SummaryThe Medical Device Assembly Technician will perform detailed assembly of medical device components, subassemblies, and finished products. Associates will use precision hand tools, perform soldering, inspect their work, and follow documented procedures to ensure products meet strict quality and regulatory standards.Essential Functions / Job ResponsibilitiesAssemble medical device components and finished productsUse torque drivers, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, and other hand toolsPerform detailed assembly and solderingFollow technical work instructions and manufacturing proceduresInspect completed work and identify quality issuesComplete production documentation and ERP transactionsPack and label finished medical devicesMaintain a clean, organized, and quality-focused workstationMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious technical assembly, manufacturing, soldering, or inspection experience preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand toolsExcellent attention to detail and qualityBasic computer skillsAbility to read and follow detailed work instructionsDependable and comfortable working in a highly regulated manufacturing environmentPreferred ExperienceMedical device or regulated manufacturing experienceSoldering experienceIPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 knowledgeERP/manufacturing documentation experienceLean Manufacturing experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsStrong hand dexterity and fine motor skillsAbility to perform detailed visual inspectionsAbility to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.Why You'll Love This Position$23.00/hourTechnical, precision-based work rather than basic production assemblyMonday–Friday first shift with a short FridayBuild medical devices that directly impact patient careOpportunity for advancement into testing, quality, manufacturing technician, or production leadership roles
