Position: Division Chair of Sleep Medicine
Department: Neurology
Role Summary
This is a full-time faculty position for a Division Chair of Sleep Medicine. This role combines clinical care, academic leadership, education, and research within a comprehensive adult neurology department.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Provide inpatient and outpatient patient care.
- Leadership & Service: Serve as Division Chair of Sleep Medicine; contribute to departmental, institutional, and professional committees.
- Teaching: Educate medical students, neurology residents, and sleep medicine fellows.
- Research: Participate in and lead clinical and translational research projects or clinical trials.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with residency training at an accredited institution.
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
- Eligibility for a state medical license.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and data-driven operational decision-making skills.
- Commitment to promoting a respectful, professional, and collaborative academic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training and board certification in Sleep Medicine.
