Medical Assistant Position Details
- Position: Medical Assistant
- Location: Beverly Hills, CA 90211
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Shift: Day Shift
- Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic experience
- Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross only)
- Strong venipuncture and blood draw skills
- Room patients and prepare them for provider examinations
- Obtain and document vital signs
- Record patient histories, medications, and allergies
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
- Administer medications and immunizations as directed
- Conduct 12-lead EKGs
- Review lab results and assist with follow-up care
- Support telephone triage and patient communications
- Coordinate prescription refill requests and pharmacy communication
- Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records
