Work Environment

Your primary workplace will be our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville, where you will collaborate with a team of skilled healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. The center is equipped with cutting-edge therapy equipment and technology, designed to support a broad continuum of rehabilitation services. This onsite role typically operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility needed to accommodate patient needs and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive patient evaluations, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through targeted therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities that promote physical well-being and facilitate pain relief.
• Educate patients about proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise programs that assist in their recovery process.
• Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under your professional guidance.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, including tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional ability.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure that all equipment and supplies are organized, accessible, and properly maintained for therapy sessions.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient care is seamless, coordinated, and optimally effective.
• Provide emotional support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering an encouraging and motivating atmosphere.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and upholding their rights and privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Caring Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, athletes rehabilitating from injuries, seniors overcoming age-related challenges, and children needing specialized developmental support. Your role is essential in helping these patients achieve their personal health goals while promoting long-term outcomes that enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Preferred experience includes 1 year of clinical practice as a Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation setting, demonstrating strong clinical skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with specific patient populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, or sports-related injuries.
• Familiarity with various physical therapy modalities and techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
