Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position offering 4x12 hours. The RN will provide care for patients with medical and surgical conditions in a telemetry setting.Shift DetailsShift: Night 4x12 (7p - 7a)Ratios: 1:6 to 1:7Weekend Requirement: Every other weekendResponsibilitiesProvide quality nursing care to patients in a med/surg and telemetry setting.Float between like units as needed to meet facility needs.Manage and interpret dysrhythmias.Participate in staff meetings and complete all assigned modules prior to the start date.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing role.Must possess a valid SC license or Compact license prior to starting.Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH required.Prior experience in a Telemetry unit is preferred.Additional InformationNo on-call requirement.Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks.After 2 call-outs without a documented medical reason, the contract may be subject to cancellation.Local candidates will be considered at a reduced rate.All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and will be approved based on facility needs.Travelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.Hospital OverviewType of Facility: Short-term acute care facilityTotal Staffed Beds: 97Scrub Color: Royal BlueCharting System: EpicParking: No cost for parking
