Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position offering 4x12 hours. The RN will provide care for patients with medical and surgical conditions in a telemetry setting.

Shift Details

• Shift: Night 4x12 (7p - 7a)
• Ratios: 1:6 to 1:7
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in a med/surg and telemetry setting.
• Float between like units as needed to meet facility needs.
• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Participate in staff meetings and complete all assigned modules prior to the start date.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing role.
• Must possess a valid SC license or Compact license prior to starting.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH required.
• Prior experience in a Telemetry unit is preferred.

Additional Information

• No on-call requirement.
• Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks.
• After 2 call-outs without a documented medical reason, the contract may be subject to cancellation.
• Local candidates will be considered at a reduced rate.
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and will be approved based on facility needs.
• Travelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
