Position Summary Seeking a Registered Nurse for part‑time duties (3‑12 hours per week) with weekend requirements at the Infusion Clinic 2A, providing infusions, injections, and time‑sensitive treatments. Duties and Responsibilities Plan, provide, supervise, and document professional nursing care based on physician orders and established policies. Use clinical judgment to individualize plans based on patient assessment. Delegate tasks and supervise licensed and unlicensed care providers. Assist colleagues and act as team leader or charge nurse as assigned. Maintain and correct the environment of care, including equipment and resources. Maintain required competencies and pursue professional development. Act as preceptor and support staff development. Identify and participate in clinical or operational performance improvement opportunities. Perform other related duties as required. Experience Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required. Employees with six months of experience who are exceptional performers may be considered at the discretion of the manager. Education & Certification Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Associate’s Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma is required. Registered nurses without a bachelor’s degree must enroll in a BSN program within two years of start date and complete it within seven years. All nurses hired with a compact license must obtain a North Carolina license within 90 days of start date. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of RN, LPN, and NCA scopes. Application of the nursing process. Assessment of acute and chronic patient needs. Resource seeking and collaboration. Effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Teaching patients and families in accordance with the nursing plan of care. Prioritization of information, treatment, and follow‑up. Documentation using computer and paper tools. Competent in BLS and other life‑support requirements as designated. Computer literacy and ability to learn new software. Navigate the system to provide clinical care to patients. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods. Focus and organization. Knowledge of procedures for routine and specialized treatments. Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety precautions. Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., JCAHO). Pre‑employment physical capacity testing required.
