Veterinary Receptionist

Overview Mission Pet Health is hiring a Receptionist for our animal hospitals. The role focuses on managing the front desk, phone lines, appointment scheduling, data entry, and client interactions. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients and supports smooth clinic operation. Your Impact as a Receptionist Be the Director of First Impressions : Manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients positively, and reflect compassionate care in every interaction. Ensure Seamless Care Coordination : Maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions to keep the hospital running efficiently. Advocate for Pet Health : Educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to ensure pets get the best care. Embody Compassion and Empathy : Demonstrate empathy and respect, treating each pet like your own. What You'll Bring to the Team A passion for excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage stressful situations with judgment and a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment. A collaborative, team‑first mindset and the ability to work independently and with direction. Experience with veterinary software is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required. Pay range for this position is $16 – $19 per hour, based on experience.
