Job Title Mathematics Lecturer (9M) – Newark Institution & Department The Ohio State University at Newark – Department of Mathematics Job Summary Seeking a 100% FTE, 9/12 lecturer to teach mathematics courses in the 2026-2027 academic year. Responsible for facilitating in‑class learning activities, assigning and grading assessments (e.g., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering weekly office hours, submitting grades, and resolving any ongoing student or course issues. May participate in professional development. Performance Objectives Develop and deliver courses in an in‑person format. Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content. Education and Experience Requirements Required: Master’s degree. Teaching experience at the post‑secondary level at a regional campus, including university students at a pre‑college skill level. Desired: Familiarity with the Ohio State University’s Mathematics department courses and curriculum. Additional Information The budget for this position is $50,000.
