Location: Buffalo, NY - Onsite 4 days, 1 day remote

Role Overview

The team is supporting business servicing and modernization efforts and is seeking a strong Business Senior Strategy Analyst to assist with project execution, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement initiatives. This is an analytical and documentation-heavy role that requires candidates to work closely with internal stakeholders, drive discussions, gather requirements, and help identify solutions to business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning and implementation of business projects, programs, and strategic initiatives.
• Assist with client and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Lead and maintain project documentation aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Drive discussions with internal stakeholders to identify issues, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyze current-state processes and recommend improvements.
• Support process design and implementation efforts.
• Develop process workflows and documentation.
• Perform data analysis, workflow analysis, project analysis, and reporting.
• Create executive summaries and actionable recommendations based on findings.
• Apply critical thinking to independently resolve problems and navigate issues.
• Ensure work is properly documented and adheres to organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

• 23 years of relevant experience (project experience is highly preferred).
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with process design, process improvement, and implementation projects.
• Experience with documentation development and project documentation.
• Ability to facilitate discussions and work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience documenting workflows and business processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Finance or Banking is preferred but not required.
• Experience using process mapping tools such as:
• Microsoft Visio
• Miro
• Similar workflow/process design tools

Team Structure

• Candidates may work within smaller project teams of 35 members.
• Broader project groups may consist of 1020 stakeholders/team members.

Work Schedule

• Standard EST working hours:
• 8:00 AM 4:00 PM EST or
• 8:30 AM 5:00 PM EST
