We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to set up and operate CNC and manual press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality products safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal parts to specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
• Select appropriate tooling and perform machine setups for various production runs.
• Measure finished parts using calipers, tape measures, protractors, and other precision instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and make machine adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.
• Maintain production records and complete required documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members to meet production goals.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating CNC or manual press brakes preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools accurately.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
