Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessment information, determine diagnoses and care issues, and develop a plan with prescribed interventions.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment; evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and care team; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care; provide patient education and treatment information.
- Maintain clinical standards, safety protocols, and professional judgment in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license current in the state of practice (California required). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required; facility-specific BLS is also required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in the field; acute care experience preferred.
- Education: BSN is preferred.
- Additional: Ability to work in a busy acute care/OR setting; eligible to work in the United States; ability to work 3x12-hour shifts.
