Line Supervisor

About the Role

This role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, driving process improvements, and leading a team within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role ensures safety, quality, throughput, and efficiency targets are consistently met while supporting the scaling of advanced energy storage technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Production Leaders

• Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing activities for production lines.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules while meeting output, yield, and cycle time targets. Oversee daily production activities and assign tasks to team members.
• Monitor line performance to meet production targets and minimize downtime.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturing procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Conduct visual inspections and verify product specifications before packaging or shipment.
• Train new employees on equipment operation, safety, and standard work processes.
• Communicate production updates, issues, and improvement suggestions to supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and report equipment or process concerns.
• Maintain accurate production records and assist with shift handoff documentation.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
• Serve as a role model for attendance, performance, and compliance with company polic ies.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulati
• ons.Lead safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Promote a zero-incident workplace culture.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 23 years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production equipment.
