Position Function Support the Department Chairperson, manage and disperse English Department accounts/finances, advise the department chair on financial issues, manage individual faculty departmental/internal/external accounts, coordinate various accounts with university offices and the Foundation. Minimum Education Associate's degree or an additional two years of related experience will be accepted in lieu of an associate's degree. Minimum Experience One year of office coordination, secretarial support, or other related experience. Minimum Other Authorization to work in the US Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Preferred Education Bachelor's degree. Preferred Experience Experience in an academic office; supervisory experience. Experience with University systems. Process all purchases and reimbursements for department and faculty expenditures. Ranking 2 Job Duty Process and maintain all travel requests for the faculty, staff, graduate assistants, graduate and undergraduate students; make arrangements for University Motor Pool Vehicles; monitor and process reimbursements; track department travel budget, etc. Ranking 3 Job Duty Research, compile, and contribute data to various reports including personnel records, annual and unit reports, etc. Ranking 4 Job Duty Manage the use of departmental credit card, upload credit card statements and receipts, manage department and individual faculty payments. Ranking 5 Job Duty In tandem with departmental operations coordinator and schedule specialist, process annual load and wage confirmations through university FLAC system and process non-standard stipend and wage payments through EPAFs. Ranking 6 Job Duty Maintain, inventory and order all office supplies and departmental equipment. Serve as liaison for department with Facilities Planning and Management and Custodial Services for needed building requests and area repairs. Ranking 7 Job Duty Prepare and generate office financial reports and correspondence, produce mid-year and end-of-year financial reports, generate other financial reports as requested. Ranking 8 Job Duty Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Ranking 9 Job Duty Perform other related duties as assigned.
