Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join its established cardiovascular program. This unique opportunity involves becoming the region's sole Advanced Heart Failure specialist, leading the development and expansion of a comprehensive heart failure program for southern New Mexico. The role offers collaboration with an experienced team within a growing cardiovascular service line, supported by modern technology and the resources of Lifepoint Health. Practice Info Full-time Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology opportunity Join an established cardiovascular group Serve as the region's only Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist Opportunity to develop and expand a comprehensive heart failure program Strong referral network throughout southern New Mexico Hospital-employed position Responsibilities Diagnose and manage patients with advanced heart failure and complex cardiovascular disease Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing the latest evidence-based heart failure therapies Collaborate with general cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiac surgeons, and advanced practice providers Interpret advanced cardiac imaging as appropriate Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives Support continued development and expansion of the heart failure program Deliver compassionate, patient-centered cardiovascular care Compensation Competitive base salary plus wRVU production bonus Sign-on bonus Relocation assistance Student loan repayment assistance Early-commitment residency stipend Marketing and practice growth assistance Benefits Paid time off Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Retirement xmvmafu plan CME allowance and paid CME days Paid professional liability and malpractice coverage Requirements MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship training or expertise in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology preferred Eligible for New Mexico medical licensure Experience with cardiac MRI, advanced echocardiography, or other advanced cardiac imaging is preferred Interest in clinical research or participation in clinical trials is welcomed Strong knowledge of current heart failure management guidelines and emerging therapies
