100 + year old capital region service / mechanical company has immediate full time openings for highly skilled, experienced boiler room technicians. We are seeking a skilled Industrial Boiler Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial boilers and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and performing preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety checks on boilers, steam systems, and controls.
• Diagnosing and repairing issues with burners, combustion systems, valves, pumps, and electrical components.
• Installing new boilers or upgrading existing ones in commercial/industrial settings.
• Tuning systems for efficiency, reading schematics, and ensuring compliance with safety standards (e.g., ASME codes).
• Maintaining logs, communicating with clients, and collaborating on emergency repairs.

Required skills often emphasize mechanical aptitude, with 2–5+ years of experience preferred. Common qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in boiler operations or HVAC.
• Knowledge of gas/oil-fired, steam/hot water, and thermal fluid systems.
• Proficiency in tools like welders, multimeters, and diagnostic software.
• Valid driver's license
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in industrial environments.
