Rotterdam, NY insurance agency seeking Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our team. This candidate should be experienced in commercial insurance and the day-to-day agency operations. Immediate opening available for full-time hybrid position. We offer a competitive salary based upon your experience, flexibility for remote or partially remote access, health insurance, retirement plan with 401K matching, paid holidays and vacation.
Responsibilities:
- Gather client information and complete applications for new and renewal quotes/policies
- Rate/Quote all commercial lines of business, new and renewal policies, using carrier websites or submit for quoting
- Prepare proposals and propose new business and renewal quotes
- Ensure accuracy of account information on new and renewal policies, endorsements, and audits
- Provide excellent customer service, fielding customer phone calls/visits, answering questions, processing payments, or reporting claims to carriers
- Process policy change requests and issue certificates, binders, insurance cards
- Maintain customer files with proper records, according to carrier guidelines
Experience with an agency management system is a plus. We currently use EVO.
Requirements :
- Valid NYS P&C License (Required)
- Commercial Insurance 2 years (Required)
- General computer knowledge and skills
- Experience with carrier websites
- Time management along with the ability to multi-task with attention to detail while providing excellent customer service is a must.
