Shift Leader Needed – Guasaca South American Grill (Durham)

Guasaca South American Grill in Durham is open Monday–Saturday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and closed on Sundays. Employees come in up to 3 hours earlier and may stay up to 1 hour past closing. We are looking for a Shift Leader who is dependable, reliable, and ready to support daily operations. Candidates must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities Include:

Opening & Closing Duties — Execute and verify daily procedures, including setup, cleaning, restocking, and securing the restaurant.

Cash Handling — Assist with register counts, cash controls, and accurate transaction management.

Operational Support — Communicate needs to management, assist with inventory checks, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Team Support — Provide guidance, encourage teamwork, and help maintain a positive work environment.

Guest Experience — Ensure friendly, attentive service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
