Role Summary

The NICE CXone (InConnect) Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise grade contact center solutions on the NICE CXone platform. This role provides technical leadership, solution architecture, and strategic guidance to ensure scalable, resilient, and high performing customer experience systems. The architect collaborates with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors to deliver end to end CX transformations.

Key Responsibilities

Design multi region, high availability CXone architectures with redundancy, failover strategies, and disaster recovery alignment.

Architect complex Studio scripts using advanced logic: dynamic routing, API driven decisioning, asynchronous callbacks, and event based triggers.

Implement custom data exchanges using CXone APIs, Data Exchange (DEX), Real Time Data APIs, and asynchronous event streams.

Lead SIP trunking architecture including SBC configuration, call path optimization, codec negotiation, and QoS design.

Build custom integrations with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and secure token based authentication.

Design real time reporting and analytics pipelines using CXone Analytics and BI connectors.

Architect omnichannel orchestration across voice, chat, email, SMS, WhatsApp, social

Integrate CXone with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics, ServiceNow), workforce tools, and enterprise systems via APIs, web services, and data connectors.

Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and platform optimization.

Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across all CXone components.

Troubleshoot complex issues and lead root cause analysis for production incidents.

Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Stay current with NICE CXone roadmap, new features, and industry best practices.

Proven experience integrating with Salesforce is required.

Role Overview

The NICE CXone (InContact) Architect is a Senior/Architect-level CCaaS position and remains a high-priority requisition. The role has been open for some time, and the team has reviewed many submissions but has only shortlisted a few candidates.

Key Requirements

• Must-Have

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the core NICE CXone/InContact platform

• Architect-level experience with NICE CXone

• Strong overall CCaaS experience

• Experience building, designing, implementing, and managing NICE CXone contact centers

• Strong technical knowledge specific to the NICE CXone platform

• Ability to answer NICE CXone-specific technical questions, not just general CCaaS questions

• Important Clarification from the Hiring Team

• The team has received candidates who have strong CCaaS backgrounds but do not have enough NICE CXone/InContact-specific experience.

• These candidates may understand CCaaS concepts generally, but when asked technical questions about NICE CXone, they provide generic CCaaS answers rather than platform-specific answers.

• This is a major screening concern.

• The hiring team wants someone who has actually worked hands-on with NICE CXone, not someone who can transfer general contact-center experience to the platform.
