Custodian PositionAsbell Companies is currently accepting applications for a dedicated Custodian to join our team. Successful candidate must be very motivated and have a great work ethic. Attention to detail and ability to work independently is a must. This is a Part Time Evening position working 12-18 hours a week.The Custodian position requires general cleaning duties, sanitation detail, and other tasks that will maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment at the Asbell Companies corporate offices and Compliance 1 location.Job duties will include, but are not limited to the following:Performs general cleaning duties required to maintain a neat, clean, and healthy environment. Cleans and sanitizes restroomsCleans, dusts, and wipes furniture, sweeps, mops, or vacuums floors. Empties/cleans wastebaskets and trash containers. Refills restroom dispensers, vacuums and shampoos carpets.Uses and maintains assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, extractors, high pressure washers, vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.Maintains a professional stance with coworkers, supervisors, etc.Completes other job duties as assigned by the Supervisor.Good communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and be detailed.The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.The ability to maintain a record of punctuality and attendance.The ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 50 lbs.Possess a High School diploma or GED.Six months or more of previous custodial experience is preferred.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.EEO M/F/D/V***The company reserves the right to modify, interpret, or apply this job description in any way the company desires.
