Customer Service Representative

Surestaff is immediately hiring a Customer Service Representative for a food manufacturing company in North Aurora, IL. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for initiating and successfully closing sales opportunities while meeting the company's high standards of customer satisfaction. This role handles inbound and outbound customer interactions, resolves customer concerns, processes orders accurately, and provides outstanding customer support while contributing to sales goals and overall business success. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20-$22/hour), depending on experience, as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shift includes: 1st Shift - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative

• Deliver an exceptional sales experience to customers via inbound and outbound calls to meet sales targets and performance goals. • Document customer interactions and product sales activities accurately. • Maintain a dedication to customer satisfaction by owning customer issues and seeing them through to complete resolution. • Respond to customer inquiries through phone and email with excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Handle customer complaints tactfully while balancing the interests of the customer and the company. • Maintain a dedication to quick and flawless order entry of customer data. • Serve as a role model for accepting and managing change to support company initiatives and growth. • Take ownership of professional development through continuous learning and skill enhancement. • Collaborate with team members to support departmental and company goals. • Position requires working on-site at the North Aurora, IL corporate office.

Required Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative

• Call center experience required. • Strong record of successful product sales and customer support. • Energetic, personable, and professional demeanor. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Goal-driven with a team-oriented perspective. • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. • Ambition toward leadership roles within the organization. • Ability to work the specified schedule on-site at the North Aurora corporate office.
