Job Overview Non‑Exempt position with a hiring range of $33.29 – $59.93, with the final offer varying based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Schedule: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.; 40 hours per week, 1 day shift, 8 hours. $10,000 Sign‑on bonus available (subject to eligibility). Major Responsibilities Administers therapy evaluations and develops treatment plans for patients across all age groups and functional levels. Analyzes data, interprets functional ability, makes differential diagnoses, and consults with physicians regarding therapy options. Provides individualized treatment plans including therapeutic exercises, ROM, neuromuscular education, manual therapy, cardiopulmonary conditioning, wound care, physical agent modalities, and functional mobility training. Educates patients, families, and caregivers; participates in care meetings, collaborates with team members, assists with discharge planning, and documents care in the medical record. Completes departmental statistics, maintains a safe and efficient work environment, and assists with inventory and purchasing. Delegates caseload to therapist assistants, supervises performance, and ensures quality of care and equitable work distribution. Participates in quality improvement, assurance activities, and program development initiatives. Supervises students in accordance with Practice Standards. Position Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited PT school or equivalent. Active license to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts and successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Board Examination. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Equivalent education and experience may substitute for the above prerequisites where appropriate. Department‑specific competencies will be maintained and attached to the job description and reviewed with incumbents as needed.
