Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a Nurse Manager specialized in Labor and Delivery in Templeton, California. This individual will provide unit-based leadership, working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff. The role involves supervising and directing the activities of nursing and ancillary personnel, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Templeton, California
• Schedule: Night Shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts from 1800 to 0630. No set schedule or rotating shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education and related experience; required. Masters Degree preferred. Five years' technical experience and at least two years of supervisory experience are preferred; supervisory experience is required.
• Licenses and Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; required. AHA-BLS (Basic Life Support); required. AHA-ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); required. AHA-NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); required. Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM); required. CPR certification or equivalent from an approved vendor; preferred. Additional nursing administration or clinical specialty certifications are preferred.
• Additional Information: The candidate must have at least two years of supervisory experience and charge nurse experience is required. The role involves staff management, quality improvement initiatives, patient safety compliance, and clinical supervision. The shift involves rotating schedules, but no call is required. Candidates must fulfill all vaccination requirements as a condition of employment.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
