Occupational Therapist OT Acute Care Hospital

Day shifts, 5 days a week (07:00 - 15:00), with an expectation of approximately 4 weekend days per month.

Assignment Details

Block schedules are required; no on-call duties are necessary. The position may float between units.

Requirements

• State occupational therapy license required.
• Inpatient acute care hospital experience is a must.
• Experience in a healthcare facility with a large acute care background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in acute care settings.
• Evaluate patient needs and develop customized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient recovery and engagement.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes effectively.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
