• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as the situation demands.
• Meticulously document all procedures, guide new staff or students, and aid in maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure that a clean and safe workspace is preserved while respecting regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical or Clinical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of hire.
• Maintain up-to-date certification for the duration of your employment.
