Human Resources Generalist Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team at a growing solar panel manufacturing facility. This position will support a six-month project with the potential for permanent employment based on business needs and individual performance. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting employees and leadership while helping maintain a positive, productive, and compliant workplace. This individual will be responsible for assisting with a variety of human resources functions, including employee relations, onboarding, recruiting, policy administration, performance management, and HR compliance. Compensation: $58,000–$62,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding HR-related questions and concerns.
• Support employee relations and assist with resolving workplace issues professionally and confidentially.
• Coordinate and support employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
• Assist with recruiting efforts, including reviewing candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate employee records and personnel documentation.
• Assist with performance management processes and employee coaching documentation.
• Support attendance tracking and workplace policy administration.
• Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Assist with investigations related to employee concerns and workplace incidents.
• Partner with operations and manufacturing leadership to support workforce needs.
• Help promote employee engagement, communication, and a positive workplace culture.
• Support HR reporting, audits, and other administrative projects as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and company information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
• Previous experience supporting a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or production environment is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and employee relations practices.
• Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting hourly and production-based workforces.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or other HR certification preferred.
• Experience with workforce development and employee engagement initiatives.

Assignment Details

• This is a six-month project assignment supporting a solar panel manufacturing operation.
• The position may transition into a permanent opportunity following the completion of the project, based on business needs and employee performance.
• Compensation $58,000–$62,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
