This contract opportunity focuses on serving a diverse school-age population, from kindergarten through age 22, within the Low Incidence Program. The program supports students in areas such as autistic support, life skills development, and multiple disabilities at a well-resourced educational center in Broomall.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated experience working with school-aged individuals who have autism, multiple disabilities, or significant developmental needs
• Confident in adapting strategies for students with varying abilities and needs
• Skilled at collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including special education staff and families
• Highly organized and able to effectively balance direct services with the completion of paperwork and documentation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services within a school setting, focusing on functional and educational goals
• Assess student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and program requirements
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and collaborative sessions
• Adjust plans as needed to help students achieve their highest level of independence in academic and life skills routines
• Provide staff training and family consultation to support student progress
