The successful candidate for this role is engaging, full of energy, and is open to learning and leading by example, responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team, as well as being there to support the team both personally and professionally.The Catering Coordinator provides support for the leaders of the hotel/resort and is responsible for variety of duties including, but not limited to: reporting, filing, answering phones, processing invoices, managing schedules and assisting with problem resolution.Your Role:Provide timely customer service to hotel/resort teamAsist with day to day operations of the main office functions and dutiesAssist with the administrative duties, such as running reports, filing, answering phones, processing invoices and other duties as requestedCreate and distribute communication documentsUpdate postings and communication venues throughout the ResortProcess, in a timely manner, reports, invoices, bills and associated mail.Greet persons entering the office, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct/escort to destination.Open, read, and prepare answers to routine letters.Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies.Take and distribute meeting minutes to appropriate individuals.Create and maintain computer- and paper-based filing and organization systems for records, reports, documents, etc.Prepare letters, memos, and other documentsEnter and retrieve information contained in computer databases to update records, files, reservations, and answer inquiries from guests.Document and communicate all guest requests/complaints to appropriate personnel.What are we looking for?Someone with a passion and enthusiasm for helping othersSomeone looking to grow a career in Catering/EventsSomeone who is collaborative in a team environmentSomeone who listens and communication wellSomeone with the demonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive information requiredSomeone with a strong attention to detail, while multi-tasking and delivering work on time requiredSomeone with the ability to build trusting working relationships highly desiredSomeone proficient with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft programs requiredCompensation:$21.00$24.00Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
