Certified Nursing Assistant – Long Term Care

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week.

Assignment Details: One (1) year of previous long-term care experience required.

Requirements:

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification required
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI) required
• Must have High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect resident care in accordance with their plan of care
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
• Support residents in meeting their nutritional needs and preferences
• Assist with rehabilitative and restorative care as needed
• Report any changes in resident status to supervising nursing staff promptly
