Quality Assurance Engineer (Advanced)

Job TitleYulista Solutions LLC RegularEssential Roles & Responsibilities:Provide technical expertise across the program acquisition life cycle in quality, mission assurance and manufacturing to the government for assigned MDA programs.Implement MDA quality and mission assurance requirements by providing subject matter expertise for the identification, evaluation and mitigation of risks associated with various aspects of the design, development, manufacturing, fielding and operation of MDA systems.The QS governing document to be implemented is the MDA Assurance Provisions (MAP).Assist with review and assessment of hardware and software compliance with quality and related mission assurance requirements, including support of failure investigations, failure review boards, evaluations, audits, and assessments. Activities include determining root cause of failures of MDA hardware.Provide technical and data management expertise for quality and mission assurance boards, working groups, and reviews to include (but not limited to) technical and mission reviews, pedigree reviews, first article inspections, and risk working groups.Prepare draft documents, briefs, presentations, and action items responses, which may include information papers.Provide weekly status reports on activities and issues of concern.Travel periodically, approximately twice per quarter.Position is located at MDA facility in Huntsville, AL with expectation to work onsite at least 2 days per week, and may be additional days onsite as MDA transitions back to full time work in the buildings. Otherwise telework from home is authorized when not required to be onsite.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Professional engineering from a school of engineering Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology, Inc.
