Position Overview

We are in pursuit of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to integrate into a passionate team of imaging specialists dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. With advanced ultrasound technology at your fingertips, you'll perform crucial diagnostic procedures, work harmoniously with fellow clinicians, and deliver reassurance to patients through prompt and precise imaging.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures by explaining each step with empathy and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-caliber diagnostic images
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Thoroughly document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Educational background:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications required:

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
