Position Summary

We are in search of an empathetic and highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our dedicated imaging team, committed to delivering exemplary patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform essential diagnostic procedures, work alongside a collaborative network of healthcare providers, and provide reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure, articulating every step with kindness and transparency
• Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Handle and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Diligently document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferably completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent agency
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
