Systems Engineer (AHT)

Salary: $91,800 - 171,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in a STEM field plus 2+ years of engineering experience, or a masters degree in a STEM field for the Level 2 Systems Engineer role.
• We require a bachelors degree in a STEM field plus 5+ years of engineering experience, or a masters degree in a STEM field plus 3+ years of engineering experience, or a PhD in a STEM field plus 1+ year of engineering experience for the Level 3 Principal Systems Engineer role.
• We require U.S. citizenship.
• We require an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance, or equivalent, at the time of application and before the start date.
• We require the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain SCI access within a reasonable timeframe.
• We require understanding of systems engineering processes, including architecture development, requirements development, and interface definition.
• Preferred: experience with model-based systems engineering, Cameo Enterprise Architect, and SysML modeling, or equivalent tools.
• Preferred: experience with modeling and simulation methods and tools.
• Preferred: the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
• Preferred: strong communication and time management skills.
• Preferred: strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Preferred: an active Top Secret clearance and SCI access at the time of application and before the start date.

• We conduct trade studies to assess design choices and shape the resulting architecture.
• We allocate and validate requirements to produce specification products.
• We support modeling and simulation tools for performance analysis and evaluation of thread capabilities.
• We provide technical leadership for space and ground systems integration.
• We use model-based systems engineering approaches, including MBSE tools, methods, and workflows, to develop, maintain, and validate system models as the technical baseline.
• We help define and document the system design, requirements, interfaces, and mission or operational concept within the MBSE tool suite.
• We work within study, capture, or program execution efforts to drive consistency and alignment across technical thread capabilities in support of a complete architecture solution.
