Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at Evince Physical Therapy, you will: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment programs based on patient diagnoses and progress. Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and exercises tailored to patient needs, ensuring alignment with physician recommendations. Provide skilled therapeutic care both onsite and in the community, adapting techniques to maximize patient functionality. Consult with patients, educating them and their caregivers about treatment plans, expected outcomes, and home exercises. Ensure effective communication with the broader healthcare team to coordinate care and optimally enhance patient recovery. Demonstrate exceptional customer service, contributing to a welcoming and positive clinic atmosphere. Meet established utilization goals while adhering to all regulations and best practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Your practice will encompass a diverse patient population, including those with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and sports-related issues. You will work closely with patients of all ages—from children to seniors—tailoring your therapeutic approach to suit their unique needs and circumstances. Your expertise will be vital in guiding patients through various stages of recovery, helping them to regain mobility and live fulfilling lives. Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical experience. A current CPR certification to ensure patient safety. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and engage with patients. Proficiency in word processing and basic computer operations. A demonstrated ability to build relationships with patients to better understand their goals and ensure their success. Preferred Experience While two years of experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with a background in outpatient therapy, sports medicine, or pediatric care. Experience in developing community programs or workshops is considered an asset and can contribute to the broader goals of Evince Physical Therapy.
