Work Environment Located in Woodbridge, Virginia, our outpatient office is designed to provide a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patients. The expected work schedule is 40 hours per week, with potential variable weekend shifts as needed. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine individual needs and implement evidence-based treatment plans. Prepare and submit documentation that adheres to applicable laws and professional standards. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care. Maintain effective verbal and written communication strategies with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, ensuring that all team members adhere to best practices in patient care. Participate in community outreach initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of clinical programs. Engage in continuous learning through staff meetings, in-services, and advanced training. Patient Population / Client Focus The physical therapist will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. Current State License in Physical Therapy and BLS certification are mandatory. Proven computer literacy, including proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting will have an advantage. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 – 120,000, commensurate with experience.
