Physical Therapy Director

Location: Leesburg, VA.

Full-Time | $90K-$120K/year | Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Role Overview

This Physical Therapist Director opportunity will allow you to lead an outpatient physical therapy office, while still offering direct patient care. This position requires a licensed PT to oversee evaluations, treatment planning, staff support and the day to day operational needs of a busy outpatient clinic. You will rely on your clinical judgment to help patients improve movement, regain strength, manage pain, and return to activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and identify functional goals
• Develop treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
• Provide hands-on therapy in an outpatient setting
• Lead the clinical team through daily patient care priorities
• Review documentation for quality, accuracy, and timely completion
• Help manage patient flow, scheduling coordination, and care transitions
• Maintain compliance with clinic, payer, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of treatment planning and clinical documentation
