CNC Machinist

$22 – $30 / Hour | Full-Time

Youngsville, LA

Now hiring experienced CNC Machinists for a well-established manufacturing company in Youngsville. This is a hands-on role for someone who can independently handle the full machining process from setup to finished product.

Duties May Include:

Independently set up and tool CNC machines (lathes and/or mills) based on job requirements
Read, create, and modify G-Code programs (no conversational programming)
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequence
Measure, mark, and prepare materials for machining
Select and secure fixtures, tools, and attachments
Set machine controls (speed, feed, coolant, depth, angle)
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
Perform in-process and final dimensional inspections
Troubleshoot machining or assembly issues with team members
Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing setting
Strong experience with full-cycle machining (setup to completion)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficiency in G-Code programming and editing
Experience with machines such as:- Doosan
- Hwacheon
- Okuma
- Mori Seiki
- Puma
Strong math skills and attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule:

Full-time
Overtime and weekends as needed

Pay:

$22 – $30 per hour (based on experience)
