Area Manager 2026 – KS, MO, OK (Recent and Upcoming Graduates) This is not a corporate, remote or office-based position. It is a full-time, entry level role located within Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, or delivery stations. Amazon seeks customer-focused individuals to lead hourly employees across our Operations network. Warehouses are fast-paced environments where standing, walking, and on‑floor conversations are common for a supply chain leader. Responsibilities Engage, lead and develop a team of 50–100 direct report Amazon Associates. Support, mentor, and motivate the team to meet goals. Operate independently and in an autonomous environment. Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours. Work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate (most follow a fixed 4‑day work week with 3 days off). Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (as applicable), and step in as needed. Work in environments where noise levels vary. L lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Climb and descend stairs where applicable. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (all requirements must be met before first day). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field. Ability to work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks required. Capable of standing and walking up to 12 hours per shift. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
