Location Sam's Club #4729 45425 Dulles Crossing Plz Sterling, VA 20166-8921 Responsibilities Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with the team; be flexible to work in other areas. Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food‑safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for production decisions, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick‑up orders, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others. Drive area performance; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving issues. Act as a brand advocate; develop, influence, and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented style; understand roadblocks and assist in training. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in business processes. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and information; recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change and feedback. Minimum Qualifications Minimum age 18 years. Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Food Safety Certification. Food Service Food Handler Certification. Compensation Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00 per hour.
