The Chemist role will work on new product development and technical support for reservoir/well intervention product lines. What You Will Do: Formulate and evaluate products used in the reservoir segment of the petroleum industry, with focus on stimulation. Evaluate physical properties such as viscosity, density, pH, thermal stability, chemical compatibility, and other analytical testing. Carry out performance testing under acidic and high temperature conditions. Operate special laboratory equipment requiring a high degree of acquired skills. Provide direct laboratory support to senior researchers for a variety of laboratory operations. Manage low to mid‑complexity projects once established. Interpret experimental data and communicate results clearly to peers and project teams in written reports and oral presentations. Duties may also include researching technical literature, maintaining laboratory databases, and preparing chemical samples. Adopt and maintain our safety standards. Minimum Qualifications: BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related fields with 3+ years of relevant experience, or MSc degree with 1+ year of experience. Demonstrated experience in a laboratory environment and ability to set up and operate special equipment following manufacturer’s instructions. Exhibit high attention to detail and quality service. Strong oral and written communication skills. Basic understanding of customers needs. Strong problem‑solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Immigration Sponsorship is not available for this role. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with acidizing/surfactant testing. Experience performing tests with core floods, flow loops, or rheometers is a plus. Organic synthesis experience is a plus. Physical Demands: Role is deemed safety‑sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
