Personal Assistant/Runner to Family – Malibu Ideal Candidate Locations: Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks (Santa Monica considered) Schedule: Generally 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., approximately 8 hours daily, with flexibility for occasional earlier mornings or later evenings Compensation: Up to $140K DOE (open to hourly structure for flexibility) Benefits: Medical insurance, gas reimbursement, and overtime

A highly creative, busy mom and entrepreneur in Malibu is seeking a versatile, hands-on Personal Assistant and true “Jill of all trades” to support her family, household, creative projects, and philanthropic endeavors. This is a dynamic role for someone who genuinely enjoys variety, is resourceful, hardworking, and happy to roll up their sleeves. No two days will look alike! Responsibilities range from extensive daily errands and household organization to assisting with a personal vintage clothing collection, supporting animal rescue initiatives, and handling administrative and family-related needs. A significant portion of this role involves driving and running a high volume of errands.

The ideal candidate must genuinely enjoy being on the road, managing shopping, returns, pickups, deliveries, and miscellaneous personal requests. Someone who prefers sitting at a desk or working exclusively alongside a principal will not be the right fit. This is not a traditional Personal Assistant position spent working side by side with the principal or Chief of Staff. Much of the day will involve independently tackling projects, running errands, and working closely with the housekeepers and broader household team. Everyone pitches in, and there is absolutely no ego around any task.

Responsibilities Personal Assistance & Errands Manage a substantial volume of daily errands, including shopping, returns, dry cleaning, pickups, deliveries, and personal purchases. Handle scheduling, appointments, address lists, correspondence, and general administrative needs. Anticipate needs, manage shifting priorities, and independently follow through on projects. Be comfortable spending significant time driving throughout Malibu and surrounding areas. Household Support & Organization Work closely with housekeepers and other household staff to keep the home organized and running smoothly. Assist with organizing closets, garages, storage areas, and household belongings. Create and maintain systems for inventory, labeling, storage, and general organization. Jump in wherever an extra set of hands is needed, coordinating with the Chief of Staff as appropriate. Fashion, Vintage Apparel & Creative Projects Assist with the principal's personal vintage clothing collection, including organization, inventory, storage, and presentation. Care for garments through steaming, hanging, fastening, and properly storing delicate pieces. Support wardrobe-related and other creative projects with an eye for fashion and aesthetics. Animal Rescue & Ranch Support Assist with the principal's nonprofit animal rescue organization in Thousand Oaks. Help with rescue-related errands, supplies, scheduling, administrative needs, and various ranch projects. Be genuinely enthusiastic about animals, particularly dogs. Family & Lifestyle Support Provide occasional assistance with the family's 14-year-old, including transportation, activities, and appointments. Support additional personal, household, and family needs as they arise. Requirements A true “Jill of all trades” who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and takes pride in getting things done. MUST genuinely enjoy extensive driving and running a significant volume of daily errands. This is a major component of the position. MUST be comfortable working alongside housekeepers and other household staff, rather than exclusively supporting the principal or Chief of Staff. Warm, personable, hardworking, highly organized, proactive, and resourceful. Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with changing priorities and schedules. Happy to work independently, take direction, and tackle any task, large or small. Appreciates fashion, vintage clothing, home organization, and creative projects. A genuine animal lover who is comfortable around dogs and enthusiastic about rescue work. Comfortable around teenagers and willing to assist with occasional family needs.
