Warehouse Associate (Certified Forklift Operator)

Duration: 3 months (Temporary to Permanent depending on performance)

Shift:

• 1st Shift;
• 7:30 am - 04:00 pm;
• Monday - Friday
• Chance of OT (~5/week), no mandatory weekends.

Job Responsibilities :

• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
• Forklift experience required.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

Education/Experience :

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years’ experience required.

Must have skills:

• Will need to be forklift certified, will be using a ladder and lift, so need to have someone who is not scared of heights.
• Packing, picking, and packaging orders.
• Need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Anything heavier will be assisted.

• Are you able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and perform warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and packaging orders?(YES)
• Do you have forklift operating experience, and are you willing to obtain forklift certification if required?
• Do you have any transcript/copy of your education (High school or equivalent)? (Must have : YES)
