Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is sought for assignments in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves performing technical imaging examinations and complex, specialized procedures utilizing various imaging systems. The role requires the ability to work independently across multiple patient age groups and locations, ensuring high-quality image acquisition and patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 07/27/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Two (2) years of clinical MRI experience, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification, BLS certification, graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology. No education verification required for travelers due to certification requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, inpatient radiologic experience, and GE imaging experience within the last 18-24 months.
• Additional Information: Candidates must pass strict pass/fail telemetry exams, including adult and pediatric cardiac interpretation assessments, with attempts detailed in the application process. The position involves float responsibilities as needed and requires a minimum of two years of recent acute care MRI experience in similar roles.
• Location: 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI 53792. Parking permit required through UW Transportation; other transportation options are available.
• Unit Details: The role is based in a Magnet-designated hospital ranked Wisconsins #1 hospital, recognized as a leading teaching and referral center. Candidates will perform advanced MRI procedures, including PE pulmonary embolism exams, and participate in clinical support and instruction.
