Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Cherry Picker Operator will safely and accurately handle industrial components in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role supports balanced warehouse activities, including receiving and putaway, shipping and order staging, batch picking, inventory movement, and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Operate cherry picker, stand-up reach equipment, and other warehouse equipment to pick and move inventory.
- Perform batch picking of industrial components.
- Handle pallets and replenish stock as needed.
- Verify order accuracy before inventory movement or shipment.
- Support receiving, putaway, shipping, and order staging activities.
- Complete cycle counts and assist with inventory movement and control.
- Inspect warehouse equipment and charge equipment as required.
- Maintain warehouse safety, organized work areas, and efficient material flow.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of warehouse equipment operation experience.
- Powered industrial truck certification.
- Cherry picker and stand-up reach operation experience.
- Experience with RF scanning and warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of material handling and inventory control.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Strong order accuracy and attention to detail.
- Bilingual Preferred
