Organizational Change Manager

Job Summary:

The Organizational Change Manager is responsible for leading and managing change initiatives within projects by applying established change management methodologies such as Prosci/ADKAR. This role involves preparing for change, assessing impacts, developing and executing change management plans, and facilitating stakeholder engagement to ensure successful adoption of new processes or systems. The position requires collaboration with project teams and independent work to align change efforts with project goals, particularly within the natural gas transmission and utility sector. Responsibilities:

• Prepare for change by collaborating with project teams to understand project scope and change magnitude.
• Maintain project documentation related to organizational change management activities in compliance with standards.
• Apply Prosci/ADKAR methodology and organizational standards to deliver effective change management.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to gather insights and understand change impacts.
• Identify and integrate targeted change management activities into overall project plans.
• Develop comprehensive change management deliverables including strategy, plans for communication, training, sponsor engagement, reinforcement, and resistance management.
• Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate outcomes, identify risks and resistance, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members to support change initiatives.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Prosci/ADKAR certification (mandatory).
• Experience with change management frameworks and methodologies.
• Knowledge of IT systems, digital transformation projects, and project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience in the natural gas transmission, storage, or utility industry.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain detailed project documentation.
• Experience conducting readiness assessments and managing resistance.
• North American job experience.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience leading change management on IT projects.
• Knowledge sharing to promote continuous improvement within change management standards.
• Experience working both independently and collaboratively in team environments.

Special Considerations:

• Must be able to work full-time onsite at the Head Office in Regina.
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
