We are looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to help grow K Tooling's customer base throughout Western New York .

The Position

As our Western New York Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business, building relationships with manufacturers throughout the region, and helping customers find the right manufacturing solutions for their projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and developing new business. Experience in manufacturing sales is a plus, but we are also interested in candidates with strong sales skills who are willing to learn the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers throughout Western New York.
• Identify manufacturers and businesses that could benefit from K Tooling's capabilities.
• Make outbound calls and emails to prospective customers.
• Visit prospective and existing customers throughout the territory.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Generate new RFQ and quoting opportunities.
• Follow up on quotes and potential projects.
• Learn K Tooling's machining and fabrication capabilities.
• Work closely with our estimating and production teams to understand customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, customer conversations, quotes, and follow-ups.
• Represent K Tooling professionally at customer meetings, networking events, and industry events.
• Help identify new markets and sales opportunities throughout Western New York.

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable developing new business.
• Organized and able to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups.
• Comfortable making cold calls, sending prospecting emails, and visiting potential customers.
• Ability to travel throughout the Western New York sales territory.
• Basic computer and CRM skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Manufacturing, machining, fabrication, engineering, or industrial sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints or understand manufacturing processes is a plus.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just want to "sell parts." The right person will take the time to understand a customer's needs, build trust, and develop relationships that can turn into long-term partnerships.

Knowledge of Western New York's manufacturing community and an existing network within the region would be a major advantage.

Territory

The primary sales territory will cover Western New York , including the Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Rochester, and surrounding manufacturing markets.

Some travel throughout the territory will be required for customer visits, prospect meetings, networking, and business development.

Compensation

This is a commission-based sales position , with compensation directly tied to sales performance and new business development.
