CONTACTING US**View email address on click.appcast.io the role of Senior Cost Accountant working on-site in Waukesha, Wisconsin you will be part of the Corporate Accounting/Finance team.The Senior Cost Accountant will be supporting cost and management accounting, financial reporting and analysis, month-end financial closing, and audit. The role requires strong communication skills and critical thinking. In addition, the position will require a robust investigative mindset and can work through efficiency improvements and opportunities as they present. **Major Responsibilities****Minimum Job Requirements** **Education** 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing facility or similar environment. 2 years of ERP experience **Knowledge / Skills / Abilities** Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to create and maintain complex excel models.Excellent interpersonal, management, motivation, and analytical skills.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to translate financial information to a non-financial audience.Ability to convert metrics into meaningful information. Self-starter with initiative and vision; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross functional environment.**Preferred Job Requirements** **Work Experience** Cost Accounting experience SAP and BI experience Experience with a global manufacturing company **Physical Demands**: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
