Pittsburgh area professional accounting firm is in need of an experienced Accountant.

Duties to include:

• Oversee daily financial operations, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing general ledger functions, and performing reconciliations.
• Handle tax compliance, assist with audit preparations, and develop financial reports to support decision-making processes.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Financial Reporting, General Ledger Management, and Tax Compliance
• Proficiency in Audit Preparation, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis
• Advanced skills in accounting software and Excel
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Solid understanding of income tax and other regulatory frameworks
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Team player willing to assist when and where needed
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification or progress toward completion is highly desirable

NOTE:  Higher salary available for candidates with 10+ years of experience.
