Our optometry office is looking for an upbeat, compassionate person with a strong customer-service mindset. You should truly enjoy working with people and bring positive, enthusiastic energy to the office. No eye-care experience? No problem—we will teach you the clinical skills. What matters most is your ability and desire to make patients feel less like they are visiting a doctor’s office and more like they are enjoying Disneyland-level service or staying at a five-star hotel.

What you'll do:

• Passionate about giving an engaging, enthusiastic and memorable experience for everyone who walks through the door from start to finish.
• Make patients feel as guests into our home
• Ensure flawless accuracy in taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear and execution of all details as needed
• Verify that finished eyewear meets optical standards and patient’s requirements/requests
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility, and inform patients of any co-payments or uninsured services.
• Bill patients out for exam services, collected co-pays and deductibles.

• Great at communicating clearly and effectively- in person, on the phone, and online. People should love speaking to you over phone because you’re just so darn friendly.
• Dedicated to making people happy– you exceed customer expectations with a great attitude while being a fantastic and fun team player
• Detail-oriented to the point of neuroticism
• Cool under pressure and capable of juggling a diverse set of responsibilities.

• Live at most 45 minutes from the office
